I could build you a garment period accurate to the last detail or influenced by a specific era. Re-create a garment from a painting or film or combine details from different garments to create your own. Your gown can be built with period construction and finishing techniques or Theatre style which allows for future adjustments and long term care. I have some excellent sources for top quality affordable silks, a vast antique lace collection and an embroidery machine to assist in making your garment one of a kind. I have years of experience working with Theatre and Opera companies and I would gladly build to your designer's specifications. I love working with those involved with the S.C.A., Living History, Period Re-Enactment and Live Action Role Playing, (I wish I had more time to come play!). I would gladly re-search and supply any documentation you require to insure period accuracy. Whether you have a very specific design in mind or merely an idea, I would love to be your dressmaker. Please E-Mail me and let me know how I may assist you. |
