HW brand ribbon corset with a 22" waist. Patent date of Feb 9, 1897 stamped on the busk clasps.
Constructed purely of 2 1/4" wide silk ribbon. The busk's interior is lined in a thick plush velvet for comfort. The bows may have been added later to cover up the fact that the busk is popping through the ribbon at the top and bottom. There are 10 grommets per side, 4 bones in each side panel and 4 bones in each side back section. No other boning.
