E.C.C. brand corset This corset is new old stock with it's original box 34" bust / 21.5" waist Constructed with a total of 6 pattern pieces per side. Fabric is a single layer of white cotton jean cut with the grain of the fabric running around the body, parallel to the waist. Seam allowance is sewn to the exterior and covered with an applied tapes and the bone casings. Bone casings are also applied to the exterior. 13 bones per side two of which are 1/2" wide. Boning is a mix of natural (likely baleen) and steel. The steel bones are the two 1/2" side steels and the two at the center back, on either side of the grommets. Decorative flossing is at the upper bust only. Cotton twilled tape binds the lower edge.
Center front length of 14" with a 13" dished busk. Center back length of 14" with 14 grommets per side evenly spaced at 1" apart. The scalloped cotton trim sticks up 1/4" past the measurements I provide.

| The busk is inserted by having the center front panel folding back over itself, towards the exterior, and sewn beneath the first bone casing. Small slits in the fabric allow the busk clasps through the fabric. The peg side of the busk features an underbusk of 1/2" wide steel and is also dished. | |
