This red silk ribbon corset or "tape girdle" is in need of some restoration before I can photograph it on a dress form. It is constructed nearly identical to the other two ribbon corsets I own. Boning at the sides and back is baleen (whalebone). There is splitting between the bones at the stitch lines. |
