18th Century Corset

of Teal damask

18th century corset of teal damask over white coutil. Square tabs at waist are hand bound in self bias.

Modern style lacing with metal grommets.

(Period accurate would have sewn eyelets and spiral lacing)

Chemise (not period accurate) is made of handkerchief cotton and edged with an antique lace trim. Ribbon ties within casings at cuffs and neckline allow for adjustability.
