17th Century Gown (1680's)

 October 2004

 

1680's style gown of black and burgundy brocade with coordinating silk taffeta underskirt.

The false chemise of white cotton with ribbon and lace is removable for cleaning.

 

 

Inspiration for this gown came from

 the above 17th century engraving
